LAKES I GUIDE
WOMAN LAKE
The crown jewel of trophy smallmouth fishing in Minnesota, Woman is my “home lake,” and my most popular lake for booking. No lake outside of Mille Lacs has more trophy class fish, and the state record is most assuredly swimming in the waters of Woman as you read this.
LEECH LAKE
At 103,000 acres, Leech comes in as the third largest lake in the state of Minnesota, and is home to some of the best multispecies fishing in the state.
POKEGAMA LAKE
one of my favorite lakes in the world. I have never experienced a lake system with so much food. Smelt, whitefish, tullibee, perch, and crawfish can be found throughout the system, with trophy smallmouth fishing on the main lake and trophy largemouth fishing up the river.
BIG WINNIE LAKE
Currently, it is my favorite largemouth lake in the state. Book me on this lake for explosive topwater action and rugged hand-to-hand combat with shallow water giants.
CASS LAKE CHAIN
A sprawling water way with endless grass, Cass lake and its connected waters are home to some the largest green ones in the state. A four pound average is expected, with six pounders not uncommon.
LONGVILLE AREA LAKES
For all of our planning and technology mother nature still has final say. Therefore, it is nice to have smaller lakes in your back pocket when the wind blows.
