I live and work in Longville year round, and I am on the waters of the surrounding area 5-7 days a week. I fish out of a traditional 20’ bass boat, with an arsenal of both high end baitcasting combos and spinning combos. I run Lowrance Lives for my mapping and side scan, and use Garmin for Forward Facing.  

Bass fishing is my passion. I will spend days charting lakes without a rod on my deck. The hunt for giant smallmouth is all I want to do when out fishing for fun. I feel very strongly that the state record smallmouth is present in up to 6 lakes that I guide on. I have seven fish over seven pounds, with my largest a #7 12oz behemoth caught in late October of 2019. Since then I have caught two fish in the 23” class but both were caught in the middle of summer, thus the metabolism of the fish is simply too high to put on the required weight it requires to top the vaunted #8 mark. All this is to say that when you are fishing with me,  you will always have a shot at history.  

I am catch and release only, and carry all the tools to properly measure and weigh your trophy if a replica is desired. Protecting the fisheries I call home is important to me, and fish are handled carefully with very little attrition. I am a basshead at heart, therefore live bait is not something you will find me using. I have myriad of presentations and enjoy teaching people new techniques. If you are already a seasoned fisherman I can help with the minutia of presentations, as the propagation of new technology has made finding fish the easy part, and detailed presentations all the more vital.
