Cass Lake Chain
A sprawling water way with endless grass, Cass lake and its connected waters are home to some the largest green ones in the state. A four pound average is expected, with six pounders not uncommon. For all its food and cover Cass seems to have a paucity of fish, with knowledge and experience going a long way in finding the big ones. With waypoints up and down the entire system I can quickly help a client break down this daunting fishery and winnow the lake down to the areas that hold the fish. With a thriving muskie population, the bass in Cass are shallow and in the heaviest cover a guy can find. Braid and a big stick make for fun days on the water.
