Woman Lake is a 5,516 acres (22.32 km2) lake in Cass County, Minnesota.
The crown jewel of trophy smallmouth fishing in Minnesota, Woman is my “home lake,” and my most popular lake for booking. No lake outside of Mille Lacs has more trophy class fish, and the state record is most assuredly swimming in the waters of Woman as you read this. I have over 30 years of experience on the Woman Lake chain, and have landed seven fish OVER 7 pounds. I could not put a number on the number of six pounders I have had brought into my boat over the years, and five pounders no longer move the needle. If you are looking for a wall hanger look no further. I take great pride in putting clients on their personal best, and there is not better lake in the state for doing so than woman.
